No more hard water!

I was so happy to receive this water softener, as I have been wanting one for awhile to help with the hard water we have in AZ! Well unfortunately I had to put it outside because it was too large for my laundry room, but adding a shade cover around it to protect from the sun. I also had to have my plumber run a R/O system through my kitchen so I have safe drinking water/ ice from The fridge. But going through all that and getting it installed was definitely worth it! I love how soft my hair and skin feels now without all the hard calcium build up. Also love the smart features to monitor the system!

I am very satisfied with this water softener. It has made a big difference in the quality of the water in my home. Since installing it, I've noticed that the water feels much softer, my skin and hair are less dry after showering, and there is much less limescale buildup on the faucets and in the shower. I also like that it features smart connectivity, which allows me to monitor the salt level and the system's performance, making maintenance much easier. It is very practical and easy to use. Its modern and compact design means it doesn't take up much space. My husband has plumbing experience, so he installed it himself and found the installation process easy. It's an excellent investment for protecting household appliances, extending the lifespan of your plumbing, and enjoying better-quality water throughout your home. I highly recommend it.

As someone who lives in an area with hard water this has made a noticeable improvement. Less water stains and less dry skin/hair overall. Fairly easy to install, needed some tools and a few additional parts from the home improvement store. Easy to maintain with salt (also pretty inexpensive). Also enjoy the ability to monitor from your phone.

I was happy to been able to receive and try GE Smart Water Softener. From the moment it was installed we notice a difference in our homes water quality. Our dishes and glasses come out cleaner and no spots, laundry is softer as well as our skin and hair feel so much better. This Softener delivers excellent performance and the 45,000 tank capacity is perfect for our home. Only need to make sure to maintain the monthly salt usage. We did purchase separately the water cut off valve for safety purposes and had a professional install it.

Woohoo! We have a water heater that works very well and simple to install. Well, we did hire a plumber to do it because it's not our area of expertise. But it fits in the garage. For our particular set up we did have to set it up side who's due to space but it's easy to fill up since it has a large opening and you can see the salt. Price point is great!

I love this! We live in Arizona and with some of the hardest tap water in the US it makes our skin DRY. No matter how much lotion we use our skin is still always so dry. This has helped tremendously! My daughter™€™s eczema isn™€™t flaring as much and my hands and body have felt way less dry. We had it professionally installed and it took less than 30 minutes. It is kind of loud though if someone is in the garage while someone is taking a shower/ using the water. But that doesn™€™t really bother me. Overall 10/10!

Optional water shut off valve is not optional

I did not purchase the optional water shutoff valve, and the phone app won't fully function because it is in a "transition" state and there is an error message that states "It appears that you do not have a shut-off valve properly installed. Please refer to your installation instructions to ensure proper installation of the valve". The error message is correct that the shut off valve is not installed properly as I did not purchase the "OPTIONAL" water shut off valve. I called customer service and they said the issue with our water softener is with the install and they could have a service technician come out and fix it. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt there is a problem with the install since it was installed by a licensed plumber, and he read the instructions during the install and there is not much for install instructions. This was installed about a month ago and is under warranty. If this is not resolved with no cost to me within the next 2 weeks, then I will be asking for my money back and purchase a different brand to replace it.
