Not worth it

It did not work well it would not stay in the hole. It would not always let water go through. It seems like it was causing my icemaker to quit working right. In fact, I ended up having to clean it because it was not working well.Very dissatisfied with it went back to not having one in. A waste of money!!

GratThis unit is our third one. We completely use distilled water. We love the ice and we use a lot of ice for two people but I guess we just keep wearing them out. Of course, when we clean there bare no hard water deposits. This last time water stopped pump sgo[[ed pumping. Maintenance is easy but is a long process.

The product took way too long to get to us. Shipping dates and times were not correct with the order and after several weeks and flushing the old filter a couple of times we finally received the order. Frustrating, however, I'm glad I bought five right out the gate so I won't be caught short again.

Great nugget Icemaker. The only reason I didn™€™t give 5 stars is the GE is too cheap to include the water filter , which it doesn™€™t state is needed until you unpack it and read the instructions. For over $600.00 you can™€™t include the filter?

We have owned this Opal ice maker for over 2 years... During that time we have had to pre-filter all our water because this part listed is "temporarily" out of stock. 2+ years is not Temporary. it is PERMANENTLY OUT OF STOCK.
