I bought this 1 month ago and started having problems since day one. Called customer service at Whirlpool, which took me 1 hour to get connected, and finally they told me that Flamingo appliances technician had to test the washer, technician came serviced it and still doesn™™t work properly

We bought this 2 months ago and had it installed a couple of weeks ago. Once we Figured we needed to set it and let it go and not keep pushing buttons, it has done very well since!

I am happy with my new washer dryer accept how hard it is to open and close the dryer door. The latching mechanism I think is a poor design and hope it does not cause problems in the future.

Perfect for our cabin!! The only ™criticism™ I have is that it can be a little loud and the dryer door is hard to open. Having said that there are tons of positives: Very small footprint, cleans quickly and very well, dries completely and very well, easy to connect and seems to be very solidly built!!
For my wife and I this was the perfect combo as it accommodates pretty large loads including bedding with ease while still fitting in a small mud room in our cabin.

I absolutely love my stack washer a dryer. I like that I can open the lid during washing if I need to check something. I like the many settings I have. I™™m pretty short so I do have to stretch pretty good to reach the controls but that is no problem. I like the double rinse because I know the soap is removed from the clothes. This machine is no comparison to the last one I had. I like the dryer because I know how much time is left on the drying time. I love the whole machine. My next new purchase will be a Whirlpool microwave. I have one now and have had it for years and it is giving me some problems.

I would prefer not to give you any starts at this point.
Ordered machine back in November 2024. After a few months, got confirmed delivery for February 4th 2025. Neither Whirlpool or the carrier followed up with me to prepare on the requested call 2 hours before delivery. Carrier stated they were in front of home, that was a lie and had reschedule for February 6th. Called in the morning to get a confirmed delivery by Whirlpool. 12 pm comes around saying delivery will not be done after speaking to customer service and supervisor. Estimated delivery would have been March. There was no point because the delivery was getting pushed back.
Request for refund on 2/6/25. On 2/17/25, request to speak to super visor after being told that the carrier never initiated a return back to Whirlpools warehouse. Supervisor indicated that it was the carriers fault nothing was initiated. I am still waiting on a refund. It should not be my responsibility to indicate to carrier to return the machine. The supervisor did nothing and indicate that it was the carriers fault, not whirlpool entirely.
Again i have no product, Whirlpool is holding money for a product that was neither delivered to my home. The lack of professionalism here is outrageous. To tell me the refund process wont take in effect until it is indicated in their system that the machine will or is returned is a bunch of crock. You do not take any fault at occurred here.
I was nothing but patient in this experience that I trusted them on a new machine purchase. Shop local at this point.

Although I just bought it 2 months ago, I had to have it serviced because it was stopping and locking when it was supposed to spin. Turned out to be a bad capacitor.

Dryer was non-functional upon arrival. Whirlpool scheduled a local repair technician who postponed and rescheduled twice. Ultimately technician discovered the factory failed to connect the Start button wiring.

I bought the appliance 2 weeks ago and the rinse cycle is hot water. All rinses should be in cold water. The manual states that to. Also there must be something wrong with the wash temp knob. When selecting hot water, cold water has come out. Its very annoying and the hot water rinse is ruining are clothes. I think we have a defective unit and I hope they can replace it next week.

delivery took forever and when it got here the drivers told me it was broken and they had to take it and i had to wait longer for a new one. then the new one wasn't pouring out any water so i had to wait even longer for a technician to come out and work on it.

This washing machine does not fill up with enough water but my main problem is that it is loudest washing machine that I have owned. My neighbors, both, up and downstairs can hear my machine when it's washing. I will call the service man out this week to check to see if it has a problem. The whole tub seems to be just wobbling in there. Up on delivery it add water in the fabric softening and the drain compartment .There was lots of in the drainage, so much that installer has to drain it again before attaching the hose.. The nice customer service lady told me that they must have forgot to drain it completely when they test it after manufacturing.

I live in a small house.So I only had a closet to put my washer and dryer.In this washer and dryer is perfect size.The dryer is very good.At dry clothes and a lot less time than a regular dryer

I like this unit. It cleans and dries my clothes. However the buttons and knobs feel very week. The washer knob popped off when I closed the hard to close dryer door. Easy enough to pop it back on but it did not give my confidence in the quality of the very important parts of the washer and dryer.

Brand new out of the box washer doesn™™t work. Purchased and installed end of June STILL waiting for it to be fixed. Going through Whirlpool service. First couldn™™t find authorized service in my area (cottage in rural area) and was told I needed to find service. I did find someone who seemed to know from my description what problem was but he would charge more than $200 allotted by Whirlpool for service call (because he was 45 minutes away and would take his whole morning.) Whirlpool refused to pay additional $25 so said they would try again to find authorized service. Whirlpool did find a place an hour away (so they probably paying even more than the extra $25 I asked for.). Because washer/dryer combo located at cottage, I had to make special trip (7 hours round trip) to meet service tech. He spent 10 minutes and determined it was control panel which he said would be 7 - 10 days. (BTW, he left a huge puddle of water on brand new bathroom floor!) On day 10 I called Whirlpool who then called service provider and gave me same 7 - 10 day spiel. On day 13 I called service provider directly and was told control panel now out of stock! I called Whirlpool to complain, yet again for delay, and was told my service request was now expedited so all Whirlpool warehouses in country would be searched and if no control panel within 3 days, they would advise. It is now day 6 and I have heard nothing from whirlpool. I could have ordered a whole new appliance and had it installed within a week or two. But instead I cannot use washer and am still waiting to hear if control panel has been found. I™™m not appliance savvy at all but isn™™t the control panel pretty much the appliance? Obviously I am very displeased.

great product however do not like the sensor dry option. it turns off if the clothes in front are dry but the ones in the middle stay damp =0( (only on sensor dry setting) Time dry setting dries my clothes every time.

Purchased washer dryer combo for apartment and upon the first use it leaked from manifold. i would of thought the installer would have ran the appliance before leaving once installed. But, I guess that's not general practice anymore =0(.

I have used my appliance for 6 weeks now and can say I am very pleased with it. It is quiet, quieter than my furnace, does not shake when washing and is simple to use. I would recommend this set to anyone who is pondering a set for their first floor for ease of access and, like me, age. I love it so far.

Had a Whirlpool Laundry Center machine installed on 01/29/2024. First wash load in dryer left a rubbery smell in the dried clothes and in the room. Took two washings of the clothes to get the smell out. Dryer setting knobs are hard to turn while washer knobs turn easily. Called the retailer where we bought the machine. Without even checking the device in person, but based only on my written description via their website, they ordered some sort of "part" that was delivered. Have appointment in 5 days by a tech to assess and maybe install the "part.". Am calling the sales mgr and requesting a new machine. $1,500 for a new machine--plus the optional 5 yr extended warranty for another $500 bucks-- and already it needs service?! Last version of this Whirlpool Laundry Center machine that this Whirlpool replaced lasted 25 yrs. Have a Maytag washer still going after 49 yrs--had just 3 repairs during its history. The washer component of this Center works--so far. (Did I mention that drawings on pps 5 & 12 in the user manual were inaccurate--pictures of the dryer where it should have been the washer?) Will probably have a hassle with the retailer over this. Nowadays, I get a tight tummy every time I buy some technology. Nothing lasts. :(

I have had washer dryer for about 6 weeks I call Menards the dryer maker a loud noise they said I had to call whirlpool so I did they couldn™™t find a local person but the next day they would call me. Haven™™t heard from anyone. The lady I did talk to was not very friendly. So I am not happy with the hole situation

I have to adapt myself to this new stackable. As it is digital, I have to wait when it decides to wash. It's funny and a little scary at the beginning. But I am doing ok.
I love the dryer and it eliminates some wrinkles and is not noisy when it stops.

I bought in on August 15th and installed on August 30th. The installation was not done in the proper way. Hence we could not use it so far. After making many complaints and follow up another team came and did the job. We are yet to use it. Hope it will work properly now.

This was an exchange for a 2 yr old GE that they threw (5) parts at, and could not get dryer running. This is the only other model/brand that would fit in the space. Can't watch TV when dryer is running. Water sensing is strange. Heavy load of towels or king sheets, water barely covers. Light clothing, blouses & undies, it fills all the way to top of tub

I purchased this combo 8 months ago. Whirlpool repair people came 7 times to fix the washer that wouldn't work. Finally another one was ordered, only took 4 months to get it. It was a big waiting game for me. So far this one works great but back panel is loose & makes a loud grinding noise on the dryer

We looked at a number of different ™stackable™ washers/dryers and this one impressed us. It had to fit in a limited space and yet have good washing capacity. We were happy with our old Whirlpool washer/dryer but it was almost 20 yrs old and it decided to ™retire itself™.ð

I bought this washer/dryer laundry center about a month ago from BestBuy,, and after about a dozen loads of all types, using HE detergent, following all instructions to a ™T™, my clothes are coming out visibly less clean (no more white towels) and don™™t even smell clean! Plus, it takes two hours to dry a load of any size or makeup. If you look in the Use and Care paperwork, (not available until you own the unit and it is installed) it graphically shows in almost all cycles, clean is less than 50%, (only better where gentle drops very low) but, efficiency is way beyond both. This is life under the EPA rules. Dirty clothes, and doing the wash takes all day! I wish someone would tell me I have a defective unit, and could get a replacement, but they show the generally poor cleaning performance in their instructions. To add insult to injury, the specs show and end of cycle signal which does not exist.

Six years ago we bought the same type of appliance. The transmission recently failed so we ordered the new model. The first one delivered had a dryer that sounded like a jet engine. The second delivered wouldn™™t shut off. Now we are on the third one. So far it works but started making a squeaking sound. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this one will last.
